Smoothly tailor your stereo image from a unique interface!

Made with❤️for creative minds

Spatializer lets you smoothly customize the stereo image of your mix from a neat-looking and interactive unique interface!

Each instance in your session can be adjusted from a single UI, where you visualize your sound stage and can directly move sources around.
Adjust their stereo width, while keeping the low end mono comptabile if needs be!

The shadows around each circle are dynamic and will adapt based on the stereo spread amount as well as the gain of each track, intuitively representing what you’re hearing.

In DAWs like Ableton Live or FL Studio, track names and colors are automatically updated from the ones in your session, although you can always rename and change colors easily from the interface as well.

Refine the stereo image of your mix with this intuitive and satisfying tool!
You can use Spatializer in any VST3 compatible host.

How to use Spatializer & More Information

Spatializer lets you smoothly customize the stereo image of your mix by offering classic spatialization controls such as:
- Panning,
- Stereo Width (Spread),
- Sides HPF Frequency cut off and Q Factor to control which part of the spectrum should remain mono with an adjustable slope for the cut off point.

While those are common controls, the strength of Spatializer resides in letting you control the panoramic image of your mix from a single interface for every track in your
session having a Spatializer instance loaded.
The addition of global mode options (affecting all instances or not) for the Bypass and Gain Compensation controls, makes the experience even more enjoyable and easy to
compare to nail the sweet spot!

  • In some DAWs like Ableton Live, Spatializer instances visualized in the user interface (UI) will automatically reflect the track name and track color used in the DAW session.
  • In some DAWs like Presonus Studio One, due to a different DAW system, this automatic track name & color matching is not functional and will default to Track 1, 2, 3...X.
  • In any DAW you are able to change an instance name by double clicking the name directly in the UI (or from the instance list as well). As well as its color by right-clicking
the circle directly in the UI (or right-clicking the track name from the instance list as well).

This new project stems from my personnal experience when producing and mixing, often overlooking spatialization due to where and how the tools are placed and having to fetch for a combo of multiple tools to achieve clean stereo widening while gradually spreading parts of the spectrum and keeping low end mono.
And also my appreciation for fluid and satisfying UI that allow in one glance to know where you are at and give real-time feedback on the context and your actions.

Henceforth this solution with a unified UI where each circle represents a track, that you can directly move left/right to control panning and a horizontal line within each circle to
control the stereo width for this track. (or use the dedicated control knobs as well)
Each track/circle has a shadow, of which the size represents the width and the shadow opacity represents the gain which makes it quite satisfying to visualize your panoramic
stage.
For example something loud and wide will have a very visible and quite large shadow.

Note: the Sides-signal High Pass Filter controls (Cut Off frequency and Q factor) are only adjustable by using the dedicated control knobs.

Refine the stereo image of your mix with this intuitive and satisfying tool!

Spatializer is the result of roughly a year of development and iterations in order to ensure best results and efficiency on most sources and contexts.
A special thanks to our awesome BETA testers for their valuable feedback!
