NAMM 2026 HIGHLIGHTS

A convenient overview of the new music production and audio engineering gear and software announced at (or around) NAMM 2026.

NAMM 2026 – CATEGORIES

You may click on a category name on the right to scroll directly to the related list!

Please note that this is a non-exhaustive list and although meant to be quite complete, won’t cover much recording gear or acoustic instruments.
I’ll keep updating it throughout the upcoming days as NAMM is on-going.

That being said, don’t hesitate to write on discord if you have any suggestions of things to add to the list, I’ll gladly do so!

Effects

  • TC Electronic – M100
Stereo Multi-FX Processor with Tap/Select Function, Signal/Overload LED, and MIDI.
    Avg. Price: 130€

  • SOMA – Warp
15 digital effects in a dedicated box with 24b/48kHz stereo I/O. What makes it less interesting is that we can’t pair multiple effects at once, and if having a dedicated box it’d have been interesting to see more CV inputs for modulations or maybe some more innovative routing features and why not a few analog effects (drive, filter etc, that could live at the end of the chain be it active or not). Finally if having only digital effects why not ensuring there’s a way to save and recall presets… It feels like SOMA missed a chance to take the best of both worlds here, of course we wouldn’t expect it at the same pricetag, although I feel I’d get frustrated quickly with the Warp as is.
    Avg. Price: 700

  • Korg – Kaoss Pad V
Not much to say if you already know the Kaoss Pad legacy.
It’s a tactile, performance oriented, multi-effects, with extensive connectivity and settings.
That said, line in/out seems to be unbalanced RCA and the audio conversion specs are not listed on the official website but it might be limited to 48kHz in sample rate and not offer the best conversion specs, which you’d somewhat expect at this pricetag.
    Avg. Price: 600

  • elysia – channex
Mono Class A Channel Strip with Dynamic EQ, Compression, Harmonic Enhancement, 22 Presets, Monitoring, 2 Headphone Amps, Onboard Reverb, Full Recall, and DAW Integration.
    Avg. Price: 7400€

  • Rupert Neve Designs – OptoFET
Mono FET/Optical Compressor with Dual Stage and Dual Band Modes, Grit, and Bloom Harmonic Enhancement, and Flexible Gain Staging.
    Avg. Price: 2200

  • Neve – 1073DPX-D
Dual 1073 channel strip with integrated USB/ADAT interface, merging the best of analog and digital worlds: hence the classic tone/digital workflow tagline.
    Avg. Price: 4400

  • T-Rex – Binson Stereophonica Stereo Drum Delay
Stereo Echorec-style Drum Delay with Gain, Echo Tone, Echo, Speed, Repeat, Short/Long, Repeat/Swell, and Per-channel Volume and Balance Controls.

    Avg. Price: 800€

  • Korg – microAUDIO 722/22
Seems like the 22 model does not feature the filter.
Yet the 722 shows only 2 mono inputs and no extensions, only 2 mono outputs. Meaning you couldn’t both record a stereo source + run another one through the filter, unless it works with Audio over USB eventually. I’m truly wondering what Korg though on this and why they put the filter with small knobs in the middle of the other controls, instead of putting that on the bigger knob on the right for a more intuitive and satisfying access to the control you’d most likely touch the most. Without mentioning some design choices feeling quite outdated.
    Avg. Price: 280€/200€

New version of the small-diaphragm condenser cardioid microphone made for the VMS Software to emulate various mic models.
