TAMA - Discover Good New Music Easily

I’m thrilled to unveil TAMA to the public!

This free and community-driven platform with no ads is the result of months of headhaches to come up with a solution to both discover and share music made with intent and care.

The lore behind the name

In Japanese, tama carries two meanings: 玉, a jewel, and 魂, a soul.

That double meaning is the whole idea. Finding a gem in music is really about finding work that has spirit: made with intent, care and a real artistic direction.

TAMA brings together the depth of a catalogue, the freshness of a release calendar and the warmth of recommendations from people who listen closely. Editors curate lists; the community recommends and writes.

The goal is simple: spend a few minutes here and leave with one record (or more) you wouldn’t have found elsewhere.
